Birthday Wishes...

I love birthdays. Every one and everything is special on their birthday! Today is the 'birthday of the USA - 4th of July! ...and millions upon millions of people around the world - Happy Birthday to you!

When I started to write this post - days ago... It was my wife's birthday too! I was writing in the late evening and I fell asleep at the computer!!! Not cool - when I woke up, my computer had 'hibernated' and since then... well, I haven't been on the computer for a week or so. Sorry, but my fingers and hands have been cramping quite a bit more than usual - lately.

In that time - since my last post, I've been lucky enough to be a big part in the BD-celebrations of some scouts I know; Steph; Aimee; and Angela... and - I had a (tiny)-piece of their BD-cakes too! ...YUM!

04/09/12......Learn to be comfortable with problems;that's where personal growth and opportunities lie......Be happy with what you have while working for what you want......When you're a guest and you're wondering if it's time to leave, it is!.....Have a little money in the bank to handle unforeseen problems......Make it a habit to do nice things for people who'll never find out......When you make it big, give something back that's big......

21/08/12...Hold your tongue when your angry. You'll almost always be glad you did......Make your life your sermon......Never buy a sofa too-short or too-long to sleep on......Become the world's most thoughtful friend......Remember that wealth is not having all the money you want, but having all the money you need......Put your faith to work......Be modest. A lot was accomplished before you were born!.....

12/07/12...Don't Nag......Lie on your back and look at the stars......Don't expect only money will get you happiness......Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than one with all the facts......Surprise a new neighbour with one of your favourite home-made dishes - and include the recipe......Know when to stay silent. Know when to speak up......

16/05/12...Teach by example......Never resist a generous impulse......Remember you can miss a lot of good things in life, by having the wrong attitude......Be prudent......Rebuild a broken relationship......Commit yourself to a mighty purpose......Never underestimate the power of love......When you are a guest, never complain about the food, the drink, or the accommodations......Never ignore your car's oil-warning light...

06/05/12...Learn to be comfortable with problems; that's where personal growth and opportunities lie......Champion your wife. Be her best friend and biggest fan......Pay your bills on time......Watch your attitude. It's the first thing people notice about you......Take care of your reputation. It's your most valuable asset......Share your knowledge and experience......Never let the odds keep you from pursuing what you know in your heart you were meant to do...

15/04/12...Be an original. If that means being a little bit eccentric, so be it......Spend some time alone......Don't forget, a person's greatest emotional need - is to feel appreciated......Choose your life's mate carefully. From this one decision will come 90% of all your happiness or misery......Compliment 3 people, everyday......Never sharpen a boomerang......Don't argue with your mother...
29/03/12...When a friend is in need help him, without him having to ask you first......Ask for a raise, when you feel you've earned it......Don't by cheap tools. Craftsman tools are better to lend your neighbour, so better tales will be told of you......Judge your success by the degree that your enjoying peace, health, and love......Worry makes for a hard pillow. When something's bothering you, jot down three things you can do the next day to help solve the problem......Be better prepared than you think you need to be...

14/03/12...Life is Short, eat more Pancakes and fewer Ricecakes......Tell your wife often, how terrific she looks......Be brave. Even if your not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference......Don't waste time grieving over past mistakes. Learn from them and move on......Don't ever let anyone see you tipsy......Admit your mistakes......Savor every day...
